Seaside

Seaside is primarily a resort community, consisting of residents who live there for months at a time as well as vacationers renting cottages and houses. Seaside is an unincorporated master-planned community on the Florida panhandle in Walton County, roughly midway between Fort Walton Beach and Panama City. It was founded by builder/developer Robert Davis in 1979 on land that he had inherited from his grandfather. The town plan was designed by architects/new urbanists Andrès Duany and Elizabeth Plater-Zyberk.

General Location:
Located in the southeastern region of the United States, bordering Alabama to the northwest and Georgia to the northeast. Much of the land mass of the state is a large peninsula with the Gulf of Mexico to the west and the Atlantic Ocean to the east.
