Pigeon Point

Tobago is often referred to as "the jewel of the Caribbean" and contains a few resort areas, Trinidad and Tobago as a whole does not rely heavily on tourism as a source of revenue. Trinidad and Tobago is famous for its pre-Lenten festival known as Carnival and as the birthplace of steelpan, calypso, soca, and limbo.

Pigeon Point Heritage Park (PPHP) is often considered Tobago's most beautiful beach and is home to the famous thatch-roofed jetty which has become an internationally recognized signature of Tobago. The resort includes a long stretch of white sand beach with warm aquamarine waters. The are excellent beach facilities such as bathrooms, showers and beach-chair rentals as well as bars and a restaurant. Tourist amenities include souvenir and water-sports shops.
